Pakistan’s sole professional boxer - undefeated hot prospect Muhammad Waseem (4-0, 3KOs) - who is the incumbent World Boxing Council (WBC) silver champion, is all set to defend his title on November 27 in South Korea’s capital of Seoul.
Waseem believes that taking down a tough competitor like Philippines’ Geimel Magramo will only add to his credentials.
Waseem, who won the WBC silver flyweight title after defeating Filipino boxer Jether Oliva in July, is aiming to realize his ultimate goal of becoming the full WBC champion by taking on WBC world super flyweight beltholder Roman 'Chocalatito' Gonzalez in the future. But before that, he needs to expand his profile.

The 29-year-old stunned onlookers when he won the silver title in just the fourth fight of his professional career.
The Quetta-born pugilist is in the United States and training until next month with Jeff Mayweather, uncle of five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
"I want to win this fight, but Magramo is a formidable opponent with a great record,” Waseem was quoted as saying. “I’ve just started getting back on the track with Jeff after a break.”
Magramo, 22 years old, is more experienced than Waseem in the pro circuit. He's had 63 rounds in 17 bouts and is also undefeated in his career so far.
Waseem, who is currently training at least six hours a day, believes the amount of time he spends sparring with different boxers will make a difference.
“My target is to have at least 100-102 sparring rounds - ideally more,” said Waseem.
“I’m spending a lot of time in physical training too, but the biggest advantage of training in the US is that we get a variety of sparring partners - from Puerto Rico to Phoenix.”
